TAHINI COOKIES
Deliciously crumbly, chewy, and sustaining. Batch cook tip for you: storing a log of cookie dough in the freezer, means you’ll have cookies on demand. Great for hungry kids in from school.
Benefits: Sesame seeds are a great source of plant based protein, essential fats, and calcium, all important for healthy bones and brains.

Ingredients:
280g spelt flour/ plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
180g tahini/ nut butter
170g butter
100g sugar
3 tbsp honey
Method:

In a pan, over a gentle heat, melt butter, sugar, honey, and tahini

In a bowl add flour, baking powder, and salt

Combine wet with dry and roll out to form a log shape

Cut into cookies, and store rest or log in the freezer until required (remember to label and date)

Sprinkle cookies with sesame seeds

Bake for 11- 15 mins at 170 Deg C

Allow to cool
