WARM SPICED APPLE AND CRANBERRY
Create warm and cosy vibes in your home with this spice infused drink. Quantities here are for a large saucepan, so ideal for gatherings.
Benefits: warming spices such as cinnamon cardamon and star anise have potent antiviral and anti inflammatory benefits.
1 ltr fresh apple juice
1 ltr fresh cranberry juice
3 cinnamon sticks
2 star anise
5 cardamon pods
1 thumb fresh ginger sliced
1 tbsp cyder vinegar
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 oranges sliced
1 lemon sliced
Heat a large saucepan, add spices and temper for 30 seconds to release oils.
Add ginger, fresh citrus slices, cyder vinegar and tabasco, then pour juices, water and syrup. Bring to boil, then turn down to a gentle simmer, to allow all the spices and citrus to infuse.
Optional extra - add a little spiced rum/ brandy for extra kick✨
