SOPHIA'S PEACH AND MINT ICE GREEN TEA
Benefits: Green tea is loaded with polyphenol antioxidants, called catechins, which may be beneficial for metabolic function, and L-theanine, supporting the function and protection of the brain. Mint has cleansing and detoxifying properties and may help to relieve gas and bloating.
Whilst traveling this year, my daughter Sophia took to perfecting the art of making Iced tea. We enjoyed this batch whilst overlooking the bay at Pacifica California, we were thrilled to spot whales 🐋. We traveled light but made sure to pack our reusable straws, to cut down on waste.

Recipe:
3 tea bags green tea with peach
1/2 ltr boiling water
4 tsp honey or agave syrup
1 lemon
5 fresh mint leaves
Method:

Boil water and pour over tea bags.

Add honey, leave to cool.

Squeeze half a lemon into the tea, slice the rest to infuse in the liquid.

Tear 5 large mint leaves and add to the mix.

Pour over a handful of Ice cubes.
