Chia puddings with berries and toasted almonds, enjoyed by guests on our retreats. Our teenage daughter and my niece  (Sophia and Anya) often help out during the weekends and love making up these chia pots.

Benefits: Hormone Balancing and Digestive health. Chia seeds are high in omega 3, for cell communication, lignans for hormonal balance and fiber-like benefits, and mucilage, which optimises nutrient absorption.  Soaking seeds this way is best for absorption. Berries are rich in antioxidants, protecting against free radicals.

1 can coconut milk
3 tbsp chia seeds
1tbsp maple syrup
1/2tsp vanilla (optional)



  • Mix well and leave to swell for half an hour in the fridge.

  • Top with your favorite berries and toasted almonds, drizzle with maple syrup. Enjoy!
